What’s special about Brickfields?

Brickfields a district near Bangar in Kuala Lumpur is the official name for Little India in Malaysia. This place is filled with Indian residents staying in this area for many years now. The reason it makes you feel at home is that like India it has many temples, mosques, churches and shrines within its borders. This place is a cultural enclave. The Thean Hou Temple near Jalan Syed, one of the oldest temples in South East Asia, is situated here in Kuala Lumpur. Last but not the least the world-famous Vivekananda Ashram along Jalan Tun Sambanthan, is also situated within these borders. Today, it’s rapidly becoming a property hotspot due to its vicinity to Kuala Lumpur’s prime transport hub, KL Sentral.
